How Vysok collects, uses, and protects your information.

Last updated · May 15, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Vysok ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you visit our website or engage us for software development services. We work with clients in both the United States and the European Union, and have written this policy to meet the reasonable expectations of both audiences.

1. Who we are

Vysok is a software studio that designs and builds custom dashboards, scheduling systems, internal tools, mobile apps, and websites. You can contact us at hello@vysok.com.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you fill out a contact form, send us an email, or engage us for work, we collect the information you provide directly. This typically includes your name, email address, company name, the industry you operate in, the budget range for your project, and a description of what you are trying to build.

Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, we collect a limited set of technical and analytics information through our service providers (see Section 4). This may include your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, referring URL, and approximate location. We do not use this information to identify you personally.

Cookies. Our website uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences (such as light or dark mode) and to measure aggregate usage. We do not use advertising cookies or sell your information to third parties.

3. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiry and discuss potential engagements
  • Provide the services you have hired us to deliver
  • Send transactional communications related to a project (status updates, invoices, change orders)
  • Improve the performance and content of our website
  • Comply with our legal obligations

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making.

4. Service providers

We rely on a small number of third-party services to operate our website and run our business. Each is bound by their own privacy policy.

  • Vercel (hosting and analytics) runs our website infrastructure, collects basic page-view analytics and performance metrics
  • Resend (transactional email) delivers contact-form submissions to our inbox
  • Google / Microsoft / Apple depending on the services you use, our calendars and email may run on these providers

If you hire us for a project, we may use additional service providers as part of the build. Those will be documented in your engagement letter.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your information. We share it only in these limited circumstances:

  • With your consent, when you ask us to
  • With service providers strictly to operate our business, as listed in Section 4
  • As required by law, in response to a lawful request from a government or regulatory body
  • In a business transfer, if we ever merge with or sell to another company (you would be notified)

6. Your rights

You have rights regarding the information we hold about you. These vary by jurisdiction.

If you are in the European Union or United Kingdom (GDPR): You have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your information. You may also object to or restrict how we process it, and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

If you are in California (CCPA / CPRA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, request that it be deleted, and opt out of any sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

Everyone, anywhere: You can email us at hello@vysok.com to exercise any of the above. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Data retention

We keep contact-form submissions and project-related correspondence for as long as we have an active engagement or relationship, and for a reasonable period afterwards for tax, legal, and operational purposes. We delete information sooner on request, except where retention is required by law.

8. Data transfers

Vysok operates from Germany and works with clients globally. Your information may be processed in the European Union, the United States, or in the country where one of our service providers is based. When data leaves the EU, we rely on standard contractual clauses or other approved transfer mechanisms.

9. Security

We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, restricted access, and modern infrastructure. No system is perfectly secure; if we ever become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

10. Children's privacy

Our website and services are not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe we have done so, please contact us and we will delete the information.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top. If the changes are significant, we will notify you by email or with a notice on our website.
